Myntyderg

Mynty (/mɪnti/ MIN-tee and /mɪntɪ/ MIN-tih are both valid pronunciations), Mynty_oh, Mynty Derg (/dərg/ dərg) or Myntybold (/boʊld/ BOLD) (any/all pronouns) is an artist and inventor of dubious biological origin of Zephyr's Garden's. Mynty joined the Garden on the sixth of october of 2023, though a connection with the server owner Zephyr_snoww through the microblogging and social networking website Tumblr seems to be apparent.

Life

"Early Life"

Mynty's early life is largely unknown, though we know him to be portuguese due to various comments made at fiber optic cable core montages. Stories of orphanity and working as a bard permeate the narrative Mynty has spread about her early life, however, these are very quickly written off under the light of their biological nature.

Biological Data

The Vessel

The mortal vessel that is often depicted as Mynty is said to be originated from an archosauriformes body, possibly koboldian, though the constant shifting and morphing of flesh and bones has left specialists puzzled, describing Mynty's body as "aspeciated" and even as "fluctuating [...] on a spectrum of draconic, bovine and koboldian[...]".

The Personage

Through thorough research, it has been discovered that Mynty is braindead. His cranial cavity seems to be 40% empty, and the rest seem to not be animal material.

It is thought that around 2019 a cordyceps fungus took over the body, completely consuming the brain and connecting itself to the spine. This fungus is often seen as the "double pronged horns" the more draconic form possesses.

The Personage is the holder of Mynty's mind, and so determining where previous memories come from has been deemed "an impossible challenge". It is widely accepted it is a mix of ideas, thoughts and memories of the host and the wishes of the fungus.

Institutionalization

After a year of living ignorant of its dual condition, a visit to the veterinary quickstarted a year long process of unconsensual medical testing and invasive procedures by the Cerba Healthcare Group. After the 11th month of internment, Mynty escaped in an incident dubbed by barcelonan locals as "La Cercavila del Drac" - "The Dragon Parade". This infamous escape has been recorded as one of the most memorable escapes of modern history of the city, involving a small group of researchers and facility guards chasing after a nude 11 foot tall malformed Mynty from the broken window of a Cerba facility through the Carrer de París to a Mercadona, leading to 18,000CA$ in damages and a very squished fruit aisle. To this day, Cerba and PAI refuse to answer to calls to indemnization, both to Mynty and the Mercadona at the 279.

Asylum

After the Dragon Parade, Mynty was placed under the custody of a local family, in hopes of settling down and integrating into society, further cimmenting the case against Cerba in the eyes of the Judicial System. However, this would not go as planned due to reported extremist action by Mynty.

On the 17th of November, the Nacional Police Corps apprehended Mynty under charges of causing public unrest through unlawful protest and social media ifluence. With very few information, the cause of the arrest was only known by Mynty more than a day after being taken into custody, along with the televised statement that the government would no longer be cooperating with them against Cerba.

For these reasons Mynty returned to Portugal under the pretext of political asylum, returning a week after the arrival of these news, where she's been living ever since.
