Cosmological space is any space within The Veil that is not part of a grounded reality. It is inherently unpredictable and unexplored, even by deities, as traveling through it can have time-warping effects.
The unpredictability of cosmological space is lessened when closer to a grounded reality, and disappears once within the reality. Most realities are not completely grounded, however, and as such they can retain the mystical and unpredictable nature of cosmological space.
Most deities usually remain at least somewhat within cosmological space, without totally grounding themselves to any reality.
