CatgirlHistorian A.K.A "Hazel" is a member of Zephyr's Garden and uses she/they pronouns. They are a coyote and one of Zephyr's real life roommates.

Early Life

Born as a part of a union at the Rexburg, Idaho Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hazel was raised within the standards and culture of the Mormon religion. Drowning in societal expectations and being expected to follow a specific path in life, Hazel fell into an intense depression in her pre-teen years. Her mother was a kind, sensitive person who was prone to paranoia and panic. Despite her desire to help Hazel, she let her paranoia and fear get the best of her and never made any significant effort to help her daughter. Her father, a stoic and introverted man, used his role at the Idaho National laboratory to enroll her in a program that would monitor her vitals, chart her activity, and hopefully help her manage her mental state.

National Laboratory Connections

Her enrollment within the program at the Idaho National Laboratory came with constant observation, a waiver in relation to her wellbeing and health, and the administration of experimental medications, such as antibodies, interleukins, and vaccines. Current logs, released by Brendan Heidrich under the threat of legal action, also suggest the use of several investigational aggression drugs, investigational analgesics, and investigational antipsychotics.

After the 2011 nuclear implosion at the Idaho National Laboratory and consequential external, internal, and fixed contamination of all of Eastern Idaho, Hazel and her family were transferred to the Los Alamos National Laboratory under a two year contract, promising that the nuclear clean up would be completed by then. It never was, and they did not transfer back to Idaho after that two year period.

The Los Alamos National Laboratory shifted the program's focus towards understanding their patient's physiology and monitoring brain activity and hormone interactions. Being removed from the hub of expectation set by her religion, Hazel realized that she did not resonate or connect to the religion and the life path it expected of her. With the tether to the expectations of the Mormon religion severed, she began to consider her own needs and desires. Hazel promptly enrolled in the Los Alamos Horticulture 101 course from New Mexico State university in pursuit of a degree in Botany.

Hazel was not the only one to benefit from the distance garnered by their relocation, everyone in Hazel's immediate family began to heal from the pressure, misdirection, and control of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Laika, Hazel's younger sibling, was also enrolled in the program and given the freedom and resources to embrace their self-transmogrification powers, molding their shape as they desired.

Hazel's mother built a strong bond with her and began to realize that she could make decisions of her own and she eventually attended the Milan Art Institute and began successfully distributing her own multi-media artworks.

Her father discovered the misleading information that the Church gave him and began to move away from the church alongside his family, garnering him more control and intention with the direction of his life path.

Monitored Trial Period

In the current day, Hazel now lives in an apartment in the Pacific Northwest, working a job teaching outdoor survival skills and botany to children. She lives with Zephyr and Limeonades, attempting to enjoy her life in a semi-normal society.
