Untethering

Untethering refers to a condition affecting mortals in which the mortal themself becomes ungrounded from reality. This can occur if a mortal spends too much time within ungrounded realities.

Untethering can lead to the past being altered, memories being lost or changed, an inability to interact with grounded realities, and many other adverse effects.

Forced untethering

Forced untethering refers to the process of intentionally causing a mortal to become untethered. This can be difficult for mortals to accomplish, as forcing another mortal out of a reality is a difficult and unreliable task.
